Sharing Circle

The space we create is an opportunity to meet like-minded people that are committed, as you are, in experiencing connection and life consciously. The experience of sharing is simple and yet profound: by expressing what longs to be heard in a non judgemental space you feel fully seen and received. This offers the potential for deep healing as well as the doorway to a more accepting and deeper understanding of who you are. The Circle is shaped by each participant: the personal commitment is the willingness to be who we are in each moment, which exposes our greatest vulnerability and opens us to personal power.

Exploring our own patterns and the intention to own the parts of ourselves that we tend unconsciously to project onto others may open the way for feeling a better integrated being. The Circle container is co-created; the co-facilitators are an integral part of the group: there is no intention to offer any therapeutic or coaching setting, we all sit together sharing with each in a circle of equals. However, it is a shared responsibility among the co-facilitators to keep the group safe to support the expression of each individual in its own authenticity.

The Circle has a simple structure:

Centering and Grounding led by one of the co-facilitators
Check-in as we move into the present moment
Open Sharing
Closing

There is no pre-existent theme for each session: it is our common experience that the group naturally expands around one or more topics the moment each participant shares whatever is alive and relevant for them in each moment.

The space, in Amsterdam West is intimate and able to host a small number of participants.

Co-Facilitator

Claudia Pradella

Claudia is passionate about yoga, coffee and the psychology of the mind! She’s been practicing yoga and meditation for nearly 25 years and teaching for nearly 20. Combined with interpersonal work and various group processes she participated in, these practices have helped her to uncover different aspect of the mind and to integrate those fragmented parts of herself that she had been struggling with on the journey. Dedication to practice, commitment to growth and willingness to explore, have been Claudia’s key qualities on this journey and what she brings into her teachings.

Co-Facilitator

Christian Henningsen

After a long difficult period in which he felt detached from himself, Christian started his journey inwards about 8 years ago. Since then he has been blessed with many teachings, retreats and experiences that have allowed him to get a bit closer to 'who he is' and figuring out what he wants from this life.

Christian is a photographer, ashtanga yoga practitioner and meditator; he runs is own practice as psychologist specialised in Psychotherapy, Mindfulness and Burnout.

Ombretta Dettori

For the past 10 years Ombretta has been drawn to explore the root of believe systems, human psychology, the unseen and the intersection between divinity and humanity. Curious traveller, passionate of meeting herself and others in truth. Her approach is non judgemental and inclusive, naturally holding a safe space for expression and growth.

Ombretta is an Ashtanga Yoga practitioner and teacher at Ashtanga Yoga Amsterdam.

Part of the faculty of the Ayurveda Academy The Netherlands, she runs a traditional Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy practice.
