Ombretta holds a Master Degree in Psychology with a special focus in group dynamics and work experience in Human Resources (Heineken Group). Together with Claudia Pradella she holds the Mysore Program at Yoga Circle, where she teaches Ashtanga and Prenatal Yoga. Since 2019 is part of the Faculty of the Ayurvedic Academy The Netherlands (previous Delight Academy of Ayurvedic Studies), collaborating to the development of the curricula and teaching Ayurvedic Massage Therapy, Advanced Treatments, Ayur Yoga and Clinical Principles. She runs her own Ayurvedic and Yoga practice in the heart of Amsterdam. Her formal education in Ayurveda (HBO level) is completed by 2 years diploma in Basic Medical Science and her yoga path has been influenced by several teachers. Gregor Mahele, Monica Gauci and Certified Ashtanga Yoga Teachers Luke Jordan have represented a source of inspiration in approaching the yoga practice in a non-dogmatic way. She loves to dive into the anatomy sounds basis of a safe practice while deepening more devotional, energetic and traditional aspects. Her approach is trauma-based. Since the very beginning she felt the call to visit Mysore - India - where to nurture her own yoga practice under the guidance of R. Saraswathi Jois and R. Sharath Jois and many others generous and devoted teachers such as Dr. M.A. Jayashree, Sri. M.A. Narasimhan, Vidwan Lakshmish Bhat and Arvind Pare. A.G. Mohan and Indra Mohan (Svastha Yoga & Ayurveda), both direct students of Sri. T. Krisnamacharya, are the teachers she started her Yoga therapy studies in 2015 with. Since 2016 the path of self-inquiry deepens with the work of the Satori Process and more recently with the important work done in different Sharing Groups. Her personal search brought her to explore self inquiry processes and relationship dynamics that touched her experience as human and as a soul. In 2017 she moved to India for one year to study and practice under the guidance of exceptional Ayurvedic doctors: since then she specialised and gained experience in Ayurvedic Nutrition, Gynaecology, Obstetrician, Postpartum and Panchakarma procedures. In 2018 she comes in touch with The Yoga Therapy Institute where she starts her studies under the guidance of knowledgeable and compassionate teachers and an international community.​ Around the same time, she starts supporting women as a Birth and Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula and eventually as Postpartum Professional Practitioner (BIA Doula Amsterdam, Sacred Postpartum Window, Midwife Cafe). The lessons of life and death that she has been gifted with during that magnificent journey are still alive in her being.​
