Service Description

In order to restore your balance, herbal powders slightly heated are applied and purposefully massaged over the body from the neck below. The strokes are energetic and the movements up lifting. The powders are chosen based on your specific needs, to offer a deeper detoxifying action. The area of the the face and head are gently stimulated with calming oil massage. Depending on your constitution or imbalance, a layer of oil may be applied on to your skin before using the powder. This 60 min session, achieves the best results when combined with sudation therapy as add on treatment and it is especially indicated in Spring to enhance a natural or guided detox and when Kapha is a dominant dosha in our constitution or when we feel sluggish, mentally and physically heavy. Benefits:​ - increases the stability of the bodily tissues - improves skin complexion - reduces excess of oiliness in the skin - removes impurities from the skin and give new life and elasticity to tissues Especially when combined with sudation therapy (steam box): - promotes a sense of lightness in the body - improves digestion of toxins - reduces excess of fat tissues and stagnation in the body Indications:​  Depending on the constitution, the imbalance, the season and presence of Ama (toxins) the advised frequency varies. Best results can be felt when multiple sessions are carried within the timeframe of 2 weeks especially when there is a congestive condition or in time of detox: - ​Severe Kapha imbalance 2 or 3 times a week - Mild Kapha imbalance: 1 time per week - Kapha Constitution/Seasonal support twice a month - Vata or Pitta imbalance: as a preparation for abhyangam, to stimulate the capacity of the body to absorb the medicinal oils

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR SERVICES There is a 24 hours cancellation and rescheduling policy that applies, regardless the reason of the cancellation, to the following services: Ayurveda Therapy Yoga Therapy Pregnancy & Postpartum services If an appointment is missed, canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice, there will be charge of cancellation fee. You can reschedule an appointment free of charge with a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to your appointment. If your request arrives within 24 hours from your scheduled service or if there is a no show, no refund is possible. Less than 24 hours cancellation, reschedule and "no show"will result in charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount. However, since we understand that things can happen, in these circumstances you have the possibility to transfer your appointment to a third party by communicating their name and contact details. If the person you are transferring your appointment doesn't show up you will be charged the full amount. Services that are paid upfront won't be refunded under any circumstance, not fully nor partially. If you do not show up or if you contact us less than 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will loose your credit. If the request of rescheduling arrives within a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a credit and the possibility to book a new appointment within 1 month (30 days) from the date of purchase of your service.
